Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Greene (ranked 421 p4p, 290 weight class) and Ilari Rahamies (ranked 40 p4p, 27 weight class). Greene comes to the cage accompanied by Stepdad- Eminem. Ilari Rahamies will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 21 - 1, fighting out of London, Ricky Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ilari Rahamies!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Greene.
Rahamies throws a leg kick but Greene moved away.
Rahamies misses with a looping left.
Rahamies buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rahamies tries to land a body kick

so Greene counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rahamies wants to stand and escape but Greene is having none of it.
Greene pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rahamies is keeping the position for now.

Greene is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Greene won't allow Rahamies to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rahamies is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Greene stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rahamies swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Greene drops back looking for a leg! Rahamies is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rahamies manages to kick Greene off! Greene jumps back into Rahamies's guard.

Greene jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rahamies walks away with a smile on his face. Greene gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Greene is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Rahamies has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Greene has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Rahamies taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Greene doesn't care though - he's delighted!
