Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nakachi Tadageru (ranked 285 p4p, 916 weight class) and Daniel Belyaev (ranked 30 p4p, 83 weight class). Daniel Belyaev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nakachi Tadageru! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Belyaev! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belyaev shoots for a double leg takedown but Tadageru sprawls well. He's pushed Belyaev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Belyaev has his takedown stuffed and Tadageru counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Belyaev! Tadageru lands a decent elbow from side control. Tadageru lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Belyaev down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belyaev sneaks back into half guard. Tadageru lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Belyaev moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Tadageru content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Belyaev has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Zanshin MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Tadageru preventing the sweep. Tadageru with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Belyaev lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Tadageru thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Belyaev won't allow Tadageru to sweep him here. Belyaev trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Tadageru manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Tadageru has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tadageru landing some decent shots from guard. Tadageru trying to control the position from guard on top but Belyaev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tadageru postures up and lands a big shot to Belyaev's brow. Tadageru working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Belyaev's head. Tadageru won't allow Belyaev to sweep him here. Tadageru with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Belyaev looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tadageru is one step ahead there. Tadageru lands a couple of digs. Belyaev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tadageru's guard. Belyaev is looking to pass into half guard but Tadageru pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Tadageru is in guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tadageru won't allow Belyaev to sweep him here. Belyaev has momentary wrist control but Tadageru slips an elbow through the middle. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tadageru's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Tadageru with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tadageru scoring with some ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Belyaev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tadageru postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Tadageru trying to control but Belyaev is working from the bottom. Belyaev looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tadageru tries to free his leg and advance position but Belyaev is retaining full guard. Tadageru wants to control from the top but Belyaev keeps moving. Belyaev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tadageru sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Belyaev's guard. Tadageru content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Belyaev regains full guard. Nicely done. Tadageru is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Belyaev wants to sweep here but Tadageru controlling him for the moment. Tadageru stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Belyaev swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tadageru postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Belyaev tries to get back to half guard but can't. Belyaev on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Tadageru landing a few strikes. Belyaev gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Tadageru prevents Belyaev from improving his position. Belyaev moves into full guard.
Belyaev manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tadageru manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Belyaev postures up in Tadageru's guard and throws a big left but Tadageru blocks it. Belyaev loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Belyaev is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Tadageru looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Belyaev passes easily into side control. Nice work. Tadageru is looking to regain half guard here but Belyaev keeps moving and retains side control. Belyaev landing a few strikes. Tadageru manages to work his way to half guard, despite Belyaev's best efforts. Tadageru won't allow Belyaev to pass to mount. Tadageru moves into full guard.

He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Nakachi Tadageru dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Belyaev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tadageru swivels and escapes. Tadageru tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Belyaev feints and as Tadageru raises his hands in defense, Belyaev changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Belyaev working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Tadageru lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Tadageru trying to control but Belyaev is working from the bottom. Tadageru distracts Belyaev with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tadageru stands up over Belyaev, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Belyaev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tadageru can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tadageru working some strikes from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tadageru is working Belyaev over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Belyaev looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tadageru is one step ahead there. Tadageru working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Tadageru is in close to Belyaev's body, working some short punches and elbows. Tadageru trying to control but Belyaev is working from the bottom. Tadageru won't allow Belyaev to sweep him here. Tadageru distracts Belyaev with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tadageru preventing the sweep. Tadageru has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Belyaev to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tadageru is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Belyaev pulls down on the head and he's put Tadageru to sleep! This one is all over!
