Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Temujin Namkhai (ranked 149 p4p, 35 weight class) and Polish Power (ranked 11 p4p, 2 weight class). Namkhai's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Batzorig Vaanchig - Mongolian Throat Singing. Power comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Xanadu by Ummet Ozcan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Temujin Namkhai had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Polish Power!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

It looks like Temujin Namkhai has been cut.
Power looks to land a left hand but Namkhai moved out of range nicely.
Namkhai appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Power scores with a hook to the body. Namkhai takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A thudding body kick lands there by Power!
Namkhai blocks a head kick by Power.
A little feinted left hand from Namkhai on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Namkhai ducks under a wild hook from Power.
Namkhai is looking to counter punch.
Power throws a lazy uppercut
and Namkhai counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Polish Power has been cut.
We've been told by Namkhai's head coaches at Little Lebowski Urban Achievers Gymnasium that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Polish Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Namkhai blocks the body kick.
An attempted straight right counter from Namkhai misses the target.
Power displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Namkhai throws out the jab.
Power follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Power throws a sloppy head kick and Namkhai moves out of range easily.

Power punishes Namkhai's body with a nice straight punch.

Power throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

and Power cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Power circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Namkhai drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Power follows Namkhai to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Polish Power! Polish Power retains his super heavyweight title!
