Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Urian Brlacher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Mfer!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mfer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Brlacher looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mfer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Brlacher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mfer.
Mfer looks to throw the jab but Brlacher is out of range.
Brlacher tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mfer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mfer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Brlacher or perhaps it was just good defense by Mfer, which made it look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brlacher jumps guard but Mfer stands there with Brlacher around his waist. Brlacher gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Oh Brlacher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mfer misses with the head strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mfer.
Mfer swings wildly with an uppercut but Brlacher uses good head movement to avoid it.

Brlacher seems to have got his legs back now.
Mfer works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Mfer dips a shoulder and cracks Brlacher with a mighty uppercut! Brlacher falls back against the cage and Mfer unloads with a barrage of strikes! Brlacher is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mfer screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Mfer!
