Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drangme Chhu (ranked 1193 p4p, 817 weight class) and Essien Ekuoba (ranked 89 p4p, 67 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ekuoba's choice of entrance music: Pure Water. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drangme Chhu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Essien Ekuoba!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chhu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ekuoba pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Chhu tries to move into range but Ekuoba moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Drangme Chhu has been cut.
Ekuoba misses with a hook
and Chhu counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Essien Ekuoba has been cut.
Ekuoba looks to throw the jab but Chhu is out of range.
Chhu looks to land a body kick but Ekuoba moved away.
Ekuoba connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ekuoba takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ekuoba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chhu.
Ekuoba has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Chhu throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ekuoba looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Ekuoba throws a poor cross that misses
and Ekuoba takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ekuoba pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Chhu lands a big head kick that sends Ekuoba tumbling to the mat! Chhu takes a step backwards and waves Ekuoba back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ekuoba throws the left hand but Chhu avoids the punch easily.
Essien Ekuoba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ekuoba swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chhu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ekuoba counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ekuoba lands with a right hand.
Drangme Chhu's cut is getting worse.
Chhu looks up at the clock. Bad move! Ekuoba lands a right hand from hell, dropping Chhu. Ekuoba pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Essien Ekuoba!
