Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Reis (ranked 2406 p4p, 1576 weight class) and Roman Reyes (ranked 331 p4p, 224 weight class). Reis comes into the arena with Cree Prayer Song - Young Spirit blaring out of the sound system. Reyes has chosen Zack Hemsey - Vengeance as his entrance music. Dakota Reis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dakota Reis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roman Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes closes the distance and clinches up with Reis, looking for a takedown. Reyes pushes Reis against the cage but Reis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Reis stuffs the takedown attempt from Reyes. Reyes gets slowly back to his feet.
Reis misses with a low kick as Reyes jumps back.
Reyes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Reis. Reyes shrugs it off though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reyes swings for the body but Reis moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Reis closes the distance and clinches.
Reis throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Reis working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
A short left from Reis.
Reyes tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Reyes pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Reyes just misses with a elbow thrown towards Reis's brow.
Reyes misses with a knee strike.
Reyes tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Reyes looks winded!
Reis stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Reis working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Reis lands a hook that snaps the head of Reyes backwards.
Reyes is rocked!
Reis lands a left hand.
Reyes is still on wobbly legs! Can Reis finish him?
Reis creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Reyes's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Reyes drops to his knees and Reis pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dakota Reis!
