Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Bruno Berinjela (ranked 23723 p4p, 2861 weight class) and Russell Northrop (ranked 549 p4p, 92 weight class). Berinjela comes to the cage accompanied by “Yoda” by Weird Al. Russell Northrop is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Russell Northrop!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Northrop looks to land a left hand but Berinjela moved out of range nicely.
Berinjela darts in and clinches Northrop up against the cage.
A short right from Berinjela on the inside.
It looks like Russell Northrop has been cut.
Berinjela lands with a light punch inside.
Northrop tries to work over Berinjela's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Berinjela lands a body shot.
Northrop's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Northrop walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Berinjela connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Berinjela throws a switch kick that catches Northrop on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Northrop looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Northrop flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Bruno Berinjela!
Bruno Berinjela decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
