Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Blank (ranked 878 p4p, 669 weight class) and Bunny Anstey (ranked 114 p4p, 87 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We've been hearing reports that Blank has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Bunny Anstey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anstey connects with a good right hand that stumbles Blank. Blank circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Anstey has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Blank feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ansteys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Blank tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Anstey manages to circle out of the way.

Blank lands a really nice looking cross but Anstey seems unphased.
Anstey throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Anstey lands with a hook. Blank tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Blank is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Despite the aggression on Anstey's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Blank really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Blank displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anstey throws out the jab.

Anstey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Anstey stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Billy Blank will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Anstey's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blank connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Anstey scrambles back to his feet.
Bunny Anstey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Blank throws a pinpoint strike between Anstey's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Anstey crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Blank scores a great knockout victory!
