Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Light Guy (ranked 23578 p4p, 23447 weight class) and Light Mann (ranked 251 p4p, 246 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Guy there.
Light Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A swing and a miss from Guy.
Mann swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Guy lands a head shot.
Guy misses with a lunging right hand
and Mann cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mann uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Guy.
A nice side step and Mann releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Mann moves out of range of the strikes.
Guy throws an off balance right hand
and Mann counters with a stiff right hand.
Guy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mann ducks under a wild hook from Guy.

and Mann connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Guy moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Mann is rocked!

Guy misses with a straight right.
A little jabbing left from Mann on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mann is still on wobbly legs! Can Guy finish him?
The crowd cheers as Guy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mann doesn't seem phased though.
Guy cracks Mann with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Mann falls to his knees and Guy doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Light Guy!
