Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mustafa Erdogan (ranked 6 p4p, 175 weight class) and Presley Chai (ranked 2 p4p, 23 weight class). Presley Chai told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mustafa Erdogan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Presley Chai!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Erdogan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Chai scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Chai dodges the punch combination from Erdogan.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Chai has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Chai darts in looking for a takedown but Erdogan gets double underhooks and turns Chai into the cage.
Erdogan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Chai takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Erdogan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Erdogan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Erdogan throws a hook to the side of Chai's head but Chai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Chai displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Erdogan throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Presley Chai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Erdogan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Chais jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Erdogan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Erdogan wants it to stay on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Erdogan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
