Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ledley King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Giant Benandonner!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benandonner keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from King.
Benandonner doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
King throws a head kick but Benandonner moves out of range.
Benandonner throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by King.
It looks like Ledley King has been cut.
Benandonner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
King takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
King has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Benandonner finds it's way round the side to connect with King's head.
King takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
King lands with an uppercut that bounces Benandonner off the cage and back into range.
King throws a jab but it's blocked by Benandonner.
Benandonner swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Benandonner scores with a jab to the jaw.
King is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King throws a poor cross that misses
and Benandonner makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A big right from King misses.
Benandonner misses with a wild body shot.
Benandonner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
King with a poor takedown
and Benandonner counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Benandonner throws a jab when King was well out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Benandonner. King does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King throws a head kick that misses.
King avoids the body shot from Benandonner.
Benandonner avoids the head kick by King.
Benandonner chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Nice body kick there by Benandonner.
King plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Benandonner lands a straight punch to the body, keeping King at a distance.
King is breathing heavily.
Benandonner connects with the punch.
Benandonner circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! King drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Benandonner follows King to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
