Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Orel (ranked 1629 p4p, 891 weight class) and Santino Cabal (ranked 215 p4p, 108 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Cabal's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Orel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cabal scrambles back to his feet.

and Cabal counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cabal takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Oh Orel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cabal walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Orel drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Cabal swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Orel's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Santino Cabal!
After the fight, Santino Cabal was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
