Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexev Savinov (ranked 1015 p4p, 2316 weight class) and John Henry Holliday (ranked 129 p4p, 273 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Savinov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to HonestKey- Point A. John Henry Holliday told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savinov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Holliday misses the jab.
Savinov swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
John Henry Holliday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Decent striking displayed by Savinov there.
Holliday lands a nice hook to Savinov's body. Savinov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Savinov misses with a head kick.
Sloppy strikes from Holliday. Those never looked like landing.
Holliday throws a lazy right hand but Savinov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Savinov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holliday takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Holliday swings for the body but Savinov moves out of range.

Savinov throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Holliday crashing down! Holliday tries to stagger back to his feet but Savinov just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Holliday asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexev Savinov!
Our winner, Alexev Savinov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
