Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raven Harris (ranked 13 p4p, 59 weight class) and Chaikka Chai (ranked 2 p4p, 13 weight class). Chai has chosen Dead Man Walking as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raven Harris!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Chaikka Chai!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Chai finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Harris throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chai looks to land a combination. Harris sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Raven Harris has been cut.

Chai drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Harris doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Harris connects with the punch.
Harris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chai manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Despite the aggression on Chai's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Chai throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Harris counters with a good low kick that Chai was not able to check.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chai wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Chai counters with a nice low kick that buckles Harris's knee momentarily.

and Chai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Harris moves out of range of the strikes.
Harris has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Harris there as he acknowledges the shot.
Raven Harris's cut is getting worse.
A slapping leg kick lands for Chai.
Harris staying out of range there.
Chai throws a hook but Harris blocks it.
Harris walks forward, straight into a front kick from Chai.
Chai thows a left - swing and a miss!

Chai misses with a leg kick
letting Harris counter with a right hand.
Chai is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Harris.
Chai lands a left and a right that send Harris crashing to the mat, dazed. Chai thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Harris throws a predictable looking body shot
and Chai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Raven Harris's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Chai swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Harris counters with a nice body shot.
Chai jabs Harris right on the nose. Harris blinks but takes it well.
The fighters circling - Chai throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

and Harris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chaikka Chai seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Chai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Harris might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Harris throws a sloppy body shot
letting Chai counter with a right hand.
Harris throws a jab when Chai was well out of range.
Harris has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Chai.
Chai slips a straight right by Harris.
Chai only half commits to the counter leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harris rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Chai to counter with a crisp jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Chai darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Chaikka Chai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab lands there for Harris.

Chai lands a big head kick that sends Harris tumbling to the mat! Chai takes a step backwards and waves Harris back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Harris is rocked!
Jeez, Raven Harris's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Chai misses with a hook. Harris ducked under it nicely.
Oh Harris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chai cracks Harris with a right hand to the side of the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Raven Harris's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chaikka Chai!
Chaikka Chai is the new light heavyweight champion!
A very excited looking Chaikka Chai made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Raven Harris stepped up to the mic, saying 'I think it's time too..........narfle the Garthock!'.
