Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Hardman (ranked 1859 p4p, 2590 weight class) and Ricardo P Cruz (ranked 264 p4p, 341 weight class). Ricardo P Cruz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo P Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
P Cruz misses with a head kick.
Hardman misses with a looping right.
P Cruz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hardman counters with a right hand to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - P Cruz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hardman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but P Cruz was well out of range. Poor timing from Hardman.
Hardman misses with a wild body shot.
Hardman slips a jab from P Cruz.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing reports that Hardman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
P Cruz prevents a body shot from Hardman.

P Cruz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hardman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
P Cruz lands a big head kick that sends Hardman tumbling to the mat! P Cruz takes a step backwards and waves Hardman back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hardman is rocked!

A decent looking cross lands there for Hardman.
Oh Hardman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
P Cruz is looking to clinch.
Hardman seems to have got his legs back now.
P Cruz avoids the body shot from Hardman.

Hardman lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
P Cruz is rocked!
P Cruz tries to get into range but Hardman steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops P Cruz! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Hardman scores the big KO victory!
