Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Montana (ranked 58 p4p, 114 weight class) and Angus Young (ranked 6 p4p, 12 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Montana!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Angus Young!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young moves out of range of the strikes.
Montana really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Young gets a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Montana.

Young has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Montana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Young has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Young wants to sweep but no luck.
Young is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Montana is aware though and is defending well.
Young escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Montana gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Montana definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Montana keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Young's head.

Montana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Young swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Montana passes Young's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Young tries to roll over but Montana keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Montana tries to pass to full mount but Young defends it.

Montana is trying to control the action in half guard but Young is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Young wants to improve his position but Montana is controlling well.
Montana is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Young sees it coming and defends easily.
Young has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Montana is working away from the top position though.
Young works his way to full guard. Good work.
Young controls Montana momentarily but Montana frees himself.
Young might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Montana haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Montana got a little sloppy there for a moment and Young has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Montana has managed to get both his arms back between Young's legs - danger averted.
Montana keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Young's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Montana postures up in Young's guard and throws a big left but Young blocks it.
Montana trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Montana wants to control from the top but Young keeps moving.
Montana is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Montana is sitting in close to Young's body. Young has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Montana is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Montana is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Young.
