Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kimmo Peramaki (ranked 672 p4p, 1962 weight class) and Sebastion Lynar (ranked 70 p4p, 192 weight class). Kimmo Peramaki had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 26 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kimmo Peramaki! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastion Lynar! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peramaki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lynar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Peramaki looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Peramaki doesn't manage to clinch there - Lynar circles away.

and Lynar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Peramaki lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lynar at a distance.

Peramaki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peramaki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lynar sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lynar tries to counter by closing the distance. Lynar throws a good cross that connects.

Peramaki has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lynar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peramaki slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lynar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Peramaki defends well. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lynar holds on and takes a little breather. Lynar on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Peramaki misses the jab. Peramaki lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Lynar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lynar wants to control from the top but Peramaki keeps moving. Lynar is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
