Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Biff Bagwell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Francisco Duarte!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte looks to clinch
letting Bagwell counter with a right hand.
It looks like Francisco Duarte has been cut.
Duarte tries to clinch up
and Bagwell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Duarte with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Duarte doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bagwell counters with a crisp right hand that drops Duarte! Bagwell lets Duarte back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Duarte is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bagwell flashes Duarte a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Duarte's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Duarte crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Bagwell punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Biff Bagwell!
