Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Dean (ranked 1945 p4p, 1630 weight class) and Toti Rotiz (ranked 251 p4p, 220 weight class). Rotiz has chosen Southtown as his entrance music. Toti Rotiz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Randall Dean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toti Rotiz! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rotiz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dean tries to avoid it but Rotiz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dean to the ground. Dean escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rotiz shoots in but Dean avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rotiz takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Rotiz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dean defends it nicely. Randall Dean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toti Rotiz. Dean scores with a hook to the body. Rotiz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rotiz has his takedown stuffed and Dean counters with a right hand to the body. Rotiz shoots in for a takedown but Dean shows good takedown defense. A counter left hand to the body from Dean misses its target.
Rotiz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rotiz tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dean wants to control but Rotiz postures up. Rotiz postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Dean struggling a bit here. Rotiz throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Rotiz throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Dean tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rotiz scoring with punches from side control. Rotiz cracks Dean with a big right hand but Dean just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rotiz working his ground and pound in the gym. Dean takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Dean is trying to improve his position.
Rotiz working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dean controls the position for a moment. Dean is looking for a sweep. Rotiz lands an elbow. Rotiz lands a nice forearm strike. Dean wants to get back to his feet. Dean trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Rotiz postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dean managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Rotiz.

Dean might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dean can't do much from the bottom here. Rotiz working the ground and pound from side control. Rotiz cracks Dean with a big elbow. Rotiz working away. Rotiz throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Rotiz fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Dean avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Rotiz. Rotiz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Rotiz lands a nice forearm strike. Rotiz postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Rotiz lands an elbow. Dean is trying to control Rotiz's posture but Rotiz avoids it. Dean is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dean is working hard here to advance position. Rotiz landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Rotiz wants to control but Dean is keeping him busy. Rotiz working the ground and pound. Dean is looking to reverse the position. Dean is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rotiz connects with a decent elbow.
 Dean is rocked! A big shot lands for Rotiz! That's hurt Dean! Will he recover? Rotiz fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Toti Rotiz! Toti Rotiz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
