Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Torvik (ranked 1014 p4p, 890 weight class) and Aqissiac Jacira (ranked 131 p4p, 111 weight class). Torvik's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, MUPP & Sadfriendd - BLOODY!. Jacira is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cherokee War Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sven Torvik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aqissiac Jacira!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Jacira blocks the leg kick.
Jacira is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Torvik with a body shot.
The fighters circling - Torvik throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jacira has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Torvik throws a body shot but no joy.
Torvik slips under a jab.
Torvik steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jacira.
A looping hook to the body misses from Torvik. Jacira does a little dance to reset his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jacira! But no joy.
Torvik looks to land a right hand but Jacira moved out of range.

Torvik misses the jab.

Jacira swings for the body but Torvik moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Torvik displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jacira throws out the jab.
Torvik has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gonzasco Hydropathy in the buildup to the fight.
Jacira ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Torvik moves away.
Torvik tries to bum rush Jacira with a series of wild strikes but Jacira uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Torvik scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Torvik misses with a low kick.
Jacira let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jacira takes a swing at Torvik's ribcage but misses.
Torvik has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jacira finds it's way round the side to connect with Torvik's head.
Torvik just misses with a punch to the body.
Torvik misses with an uppercut.
Torvik throws an overhand right that lands on Jacira's shoulder, as Jacira tries to avoid the shot.
Jacira scores with a jab to the jaw.
Torvik keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Torvik misses with an uppercut. Jacira saw that one coming.
Jacira comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Torvik walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Torvik takes a swing at Jacira's ribcage but misses.
Jacira avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

A slow jab from Torvik misses its intended target.

Torvik throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little jabbing left from Jacira on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jacira cracks Torvik with an open hand slap.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jacira throws a right hand that Torvik ducks under and follows up with a left that Torvik also avoids with ease.
Torvik lands with an overhand left.
Jacira wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jacira throws a lazy right hand but Torvik sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Torvik looks to score with a jab to the body but Jacira is just out of range.

Torvik swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jacira counters with a nice uppercut.
Jacira clobbers Torvik with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Torvik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jacira.
Torvik connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jacira throws a lazy uppercut
and Jacira takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Torvik throws a hook but Jacira avoids it easily.
Torvik cracks Jacira on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jacira falls backwards against the cage. Torvik follows up with more strikes that drop Jacira to his knees. Torvik keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jacira! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sven Torvik!
Sven Torvik spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
