Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mae Joon!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Traumen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Traumen. Joon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Traumen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Joon has time to react.
Joon moves away from the strike by Traumen.
Joon with the counter takedown but Traumen avoids it easily.
Joon takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Decent striking displayed by Traumen there.
Lucas Traumen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Traumen finds it's way through Joon's defenses.
Joon is rocked!
Joon gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Joon tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Traumen is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Joon buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Joon!! Joon is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Traumen throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas Traumen!

Lucas Traumen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
