Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Averescu (ranked 4455 p4p, 2753 weight class) and Alan West (ranked 521 p4p, 370 weight class). Averescu comes to the cage accompanied by Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle. Alan West told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 41 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Averescu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan West!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Averescu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from West.
A little feinted left hand from Averescu on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
