Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 26 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Venegas !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Stahl!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Stahl. Venegas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Venegas is looking for a counter combo.
Venegas feints and as Stahl raises his hands in defense, Venegas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Venegas postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Venegas stopping the sweep attempt from Stahl.
Venegas landing with the ground and pound.
Venegas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stahl swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stahl keeping moving, preventing Venegas from controlling successfully.
Venegas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Venegas wants to control from the top but Stahl keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Venegas wants to pass the guard but Stahl is keeping the position.
Stahl looking to hit a scissor sweep but Venegas is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Venegas slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Venegas works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Venegas working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Stahl is looking for a sweep.
Stahl is not content to let Venegas control the position.
Venegas has an Americana. Stahl didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Venegas is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Venegas hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

After winning the bout, Frankie Venegas thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
