Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Macka Briggs (ranked 1121 p4p, 810 weight class) and Valentin Adamovic (ranked 140 p4p, 107 weight class). Briggs comes into the arena with Stepping Razor by Peter Tosh blaring out of the sound system. Macka Briggs had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamovic scores with a decent looking hook.
It looks like Macka Briggs has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Adamovic.
Adamovic avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Adamovic's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Briggs connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Adamovic scrambles back to his feet.
Briggs gets tackled into the cage by Adamovic. Adamovic maintains the clinch.
Briggs lands a hook to the side of the head.

Briggs tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Adamovic's elbow.
Briggs has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Briggs lands an elbow inside that Adamovic shrugs off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Briggs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Adamovic connects with a single shot there.
Adamovic lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Adamovic lands with a right hand.
Briggs tries to keep at a distance but Adamovic has taken the fight into the clinch.

Adamovic throws a head punch that misses.
Adamovic avoids a wild elbow strike from Briggs.
Adamovic tightens his grip and picks Briggs up, before dumping him to the ground. Briggs manages to land in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Adamovic trying to mount his opponent but Briggs defends it.

Briggs throws a lazy right hand but Adamovic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Valentin Adamovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Briggs takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Adamovic lands a front kick.
Briggs moves in looking to clinch but Adamovic pushes him off.
Adamovic cracks Briggs with a good jab.
Decent striking displayed by Adamovic there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Adamovic, as that shot connected.

A decent looking cross lands there for Briggs.
Adamovic will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Briggs walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Adamovic connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Briggs! He's out on his feet! Adamovic rushes in and drops Briggs with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
