Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Turcotte (ranked 533 p4p, 117 weight class) and Lucas Traumen (ranked 62 p4p, 17 weight class). Jacques Turcotte looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas Traumen!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turcotte swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Traumen to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Jacques Turcotte has been cut.
Turcotte scores with a crisp jab that stopped Traumen in his tracks.
Traumen misses with a looping right.
Traumen moves away from the strike by Turcotte.
Traumen with the inside leg kick.
Turcotte takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Turcotte throws a jab when Traumen was well out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turcotte bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Traumen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Turcotte throws out the jab.

Traumen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Traumen clobbers Turcotte with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Traumen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Turcotte at a distance.
Turcotte is breathing heavily.
A jab from Traumen misses.
A little feinted left hand from Turcotte on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Traumen scores with a nice head shot.
Turcotte has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Turcotte there as he acknowledges the shot.
Turcotte ducks under a wild hook from Traumen.
Traumen lands with a right hand.
Traumen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Traumen has closed the distance and engaged Turcotte in a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Turcotte is trying to break free.
Traumen breaks from the clinch.
Traumen slips a jab from Turcotte.
Turcotte swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Turcotte has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Traumen finds it's way round the side to connect with Turcotte's head.
A slow jab from Traumen misses its intended target.

Traumen keeps Turcotte at a distance using the push kick.
Traumen throws a hook but Turcotte blocks it.
Traumen works Turcotte's body with a nice hook.
Traumen looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Turcotte steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Traumen.
Traumen ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Turcotte tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Traumen was well out of range. Poor timing from Turcotte.
Turcotte slips a straight right by Traumen.
Turcotte is looking to counter punch.
Turcotte ducks right into an uppercut from Traumen.
Traumen slips under a jab from Turcotte.
Traumen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Turcotte is rocked!
Turcotte pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Traumen! But no joy.
Oh Turcotte is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Traumen throws a shot to the body.
Turcotte on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Traumen. Traumen obviously looking to wear him down.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Traumen engages and cracks Turcotte with a massive lead left hook - Turcotte tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Traumen is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lucas Traumen!
Lucas Traumen tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
