Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Buster Posey !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Khabib Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson moves forwards but Posey connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Posey misses with the body kick
and Ferguson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Buster Posey has been cut.
Posey looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
It seemed like Ferguson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Posey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ferguson.
Ferguson scores with a shot to the body.
Posey throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Ferguson to counter with a crisp jab.
Ferguson misses with an uppercut.
A nice inside leg kick there by Posey . That's going to slow Ferguson down.
Posey rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ferguson counters with a nice right hand that sends Posey toppling to the canvas! Posey scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ferguson finish him?!
Posey is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Posey misses with a leg kick
and Ferguson rattles Posey with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Posey tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Ferguson dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Posey stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Khabib Ferguson!
In his post fight interview, Khabib Ferguson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
