Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clint River (ranked 336 p4p, 813 weight class) and Walter Payton (ranked 47 p4p, 107 weight class). Payton has chosen Andre Nickatina - Yeah as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payton throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Payton misses with a lunging right hand
and River counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Walter Payton has been cut.
Payton swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
River tries to clinch up but Payton circles away and keeps his distance.
River connects with a solid leg kick.
A low kick lands for River .
A slapping leg kick lands for Payton.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
River throws a hook but Payton avoids it easily.

Payton takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
River uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Payton.
River looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
River throws a sloppy head kick and Payton moves out of range easily.
River looks to land a right hand but Payton moved out of range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
River throws a one two combo.
Payton takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Payton throws an overhand right that lands on River 's shoulder, as River tries to avoid the shot.
River walks into a jab.
Payton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by River .
River tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

River connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Payton's hands.
A telegraphed right hand from Payton misses the target.
As Payton tries to get set, River tries to push him back and clinch up but Payton manages to avoid the attempt.
River throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and River connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
River getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Payton throws a lazy uppercut
and River counters with a nice uppercut.
Payton is rocked!
River slips under a jab from Payton.
Payton is still on wobbly legs! Can River finish him?
River cracks Payton with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Payton falls to his knees and River doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
