Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Rhodes (ranked 205 p4p, 793 weight class) and Bill River (ranked 30 p4p, 98 weight class). Rhodes comes to the cage accompanied by Bury My Bones. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Dusty Rhodes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bill River!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
River lands with a nice body punch.
Rhodes throws the left hand but River avoids the punch easily.
River takes the fight into the clinch.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rhodes cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

River utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

River can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rhodes controls the pace.
River is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rhodes is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rhodes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
