Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rudy Beckwith (ranked 978 p4p, 1358 weight class) and Tommy Vercetti (ranked 101 p4p, 141 weight class). Vercetti has chosen Vice City as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudy Beckwith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Vercetti!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vercetti misses with a looping left.
Vercetti fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Beckwith on the side of the head.
Beckwith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vercetti is fending him off so far but Beckwith persists. Nope, Vercetti circles away and we're back to standing.
Vercetti throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beckwith sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Beckwith fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vercetti to the ground. Beckwith is now in Vercetti's guard.
Beckwith trying to control the position from guard on top but Vercetti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Beckwith tries to free his leg and advance position but Vercetti is retaining full guard.
Beckwith wants to control from the top but Vercetti keeps moving.
Vercetti looking to hit a scissor sweep but Beckwith is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beckwith is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vercetti is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vercetti has escaped and now he's on top!
Beckwith lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Beckwith drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Vercetti manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Beckwith has Vercetti in his guard.

Beckwith is trying to control the position but Vercetti postures up.

Beckwith has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Vercetti is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Beckwith.
Vercetti tries to move into full mount but can't pass Beckwith's legs.
Beckwith tries to buck Vercetti off but Vercetti is having none of it.
Beckwith is working hard here to advance position.

Beckwith is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beckwith is pressing down on Vercetti's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Vercetti controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Beckwith looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Vercetti puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

That's time! Beckwith's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Beckwith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vercetti as he jumps to the side.

Beckwith shoots for a takedown but Vercetti saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Vercetti! But no joy.

Beckwith shoots in looking for a takedown but Vercetti manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beckwith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Beckwith was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Beckwith has his takedown stuffed
and Vercetti counters with a stiff right hand.
Nice straight punches there by Vercetti. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Vercetti.
Beckwith fails with a takedown attempt.
Beckwith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vercetti swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Beckwith walks straight into a right hand from Vercetti - that's dropped him! Vercetti jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Beckwith from any more punishment! Beckwith complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tommy Vercetti!
Our winner, Tommy Vercetti, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
