Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Rainey (ranked 1031 p4p, 1799 weight class) and Edward Sleon (ranked 137 p4p, 225 weight class). Sleon has chosen Shabba Madda Pot - Dexta Daps as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Bradley Rainey has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bradley Rainey seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bradley Rainey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Sleon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sleon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rainey manages to avoid it.
Good standup being displayed there by Sleon as he connects with a hook.
Sleon scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sleon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rainey moves away.
Sleon throws a nice outside leg kick.
Rainey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rainey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bradley Rainey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sleon goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rainey scores with a jab to the head.
Sleon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rainey to score with a decent uppercut.
Rainey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sleon.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rainey takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sleon swings for the body but Rainey moves out of range.

Sleon shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sleon throws a push kick but Rainey slaps the foot to one side.
Rainey half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Sleon slips a straight right by Rainey.
Rainey fails with a takedown attempt.
Sleon scores with a head kick.
Sleon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rainey definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Sleon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rainey.
Rainey looks to land a left hand but Sleon moved out of range nicely.
Rainey takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Rainey doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sleon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bradley Rainey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rainey lands with a straight right. Sleon didn't see that one coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sleon cracks Rainey with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sleon tests Rainey's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sleon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sleon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rainey.

Sleon is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rainey had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Rainey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sleon.

Rainey's corner calls for a 1-2. Rainey obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rainey is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Sleon connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Sleon scores with a sloppy right hand. Rainey should have avoided that one.
Rainey swings widly with a right hand
and Sleon counters with a nice uppercut.

Rainey throws an off balance right hand
and Sleon scores with a counter punch that sends Rainey to the canvas! Sleon smells blood - he's punishing Rainey with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Rainey has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edward Sleon!
