Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Pedro Gomez (ranked 3162 p4p, 2412 weight class) and Bardia Farrokhzad (ranked 172 p4p, 143 weight class). Gomez comes to the cage accompanied by Hotel California (Spanish Mix). Farrokhzad is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rastak - Hele Mali (Iranian Fisherman Folk Song). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Farrokhzad closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Gomez crashing to the mat! Gomez uses the cage to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Gomez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Gomez walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Gomez is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

After winning the bout, Bardia Farrokhzad thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
