Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Lancaster (ranked 1331 p4p, 787 weight class) and Baariq Taïa (ranked 61 p4p, 19 weight class). Lancaster's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Slipknot - I Am Hated. Baariq Taïa is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shane Lancaster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Baariq Taïa!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taïa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Taïa jabs Lancaster to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Taïa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lancaster is breathing heavily.
Taïa scores with a hook.
It looks like Shane Lancaster has been cut.
Lancaster pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Taïa drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lancaster defends it well.
Taïa's coach down at Mentor Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Taïa's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lancaster is on top in guard.
Taïa lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Lancaster seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Lancaster wants to stand and escape but Taïa is having none of it.

Lancaster is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Oh Lancaster is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Taïa stands up over Lancaster, holding on to his feet. Taïa throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Lancaster is out cold! Taïa lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
