The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christie throws a good cross that connects.
Christie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Christie wants it to stay on the feet.
Christie looks to land a left hand but Mir moved out of range nicely.
Mir slips under a jab.
Christie misses the jab.
Christie looks to throw the jab but Mir is out of range.
Christie misses with a lunging right hand
and Mir cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Christie slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Christie throws a hook but Mir blocks it.
Christie throws the left hand but Mir avoids the punch easily.

Christie moves into the clinch.
Mir has had enough of the clinch but Christie keeps him there for the moment.
Christie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mir has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Christie misses with a hook
and Mir counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
You can see the frustration on Christie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Christie is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mir off and has taken his back!

Christie has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mir's face.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! Christie connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Mir is still in real trouble! Can Christie finish him?

Oooooh, big shot lands for Christie! Mir is hurt baaadly! Christie is firing away with more strikes - Mir is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
