Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Hakansson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergey Bakarow!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakansson fails to land the takedown.

Hakansson drives through with a takedown into Bakarow's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Hakansson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bakarow is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hakansson.
Hakansson is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Bakarow is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Bakarow fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Hakansson wants to control but Bakarow is having none of it.

Bakarow is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hakansson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's time! Hakansson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hakansson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bakarow tries to avoid it but Hakansson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bakarow to the ground. Bakarow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hakansson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bakarow as he jumps to the side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bakarow wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hakansson manages to pass to side control.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bakarow enables Hakansson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bakarow manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well Bakarow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
