Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Hogg (ranked 523 p4p, 1579 weight class) and Colton Wilder (ranked 68 p4p, 203 weight class). Hogg comes to the cage accompanied by Styx - Renegade. The crowd seem to be enjoying Wilder's choice of entrance music: Tombstone - Avatar Darko. Colton Wilder told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogg waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wilder.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wilder has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Hogg ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hogg wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

so Hogg counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wilder tries to lock up and control but Hogg gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hogg wants to finish this one by submission but Wilder is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hogg.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
