Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulie Soprano!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonardo misses with a straight left.

Soprano shoots in looking for a takedown. Leonardo tries to sprawl out of it but Soprano keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leonardo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

No joy there for Leonardo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Soprano counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Soprano has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Soprano there as he acknowledges the shot.

Leonardo clobbers Soprano with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

And Soprano tries to counter it with a takedown but Leonardo pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Soprano shoots in for a double leg but Leonardo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mario Leonardo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulie Soprano.

Soprano takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Leonardo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Soprano.

Soprano looks to land a right hand but Leonardo moved out of range.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Soprano might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Leonardo has got the better of the exchanges.

Leonardo can't keep his opponent in guard - Soprano advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Leonardo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Soprano on the ground.
