The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaspard throws a body punch but Skwat moves out of range.
Skwat moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Skwat chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gaspard can pounce on him.
Gaspard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Skwat manages to avoid it.
Gaspard moves away from the strike by Skwat.

A nice side step and Skwat releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Gaspard fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Gaspard feints and then cracks Skwat's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Skwat down.
Skwat throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gaspard sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Skwat throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gaspard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A head kick lands from Skwat that sends Gaspard to the canvas. Gaspard tries to scramble back to his feet but Skwat brings him back down into side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jean Luc Gaspard.
I think Skwat has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
