And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grant Hyde!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanorden checks a leg kick.
Grant Hyde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hyde misses with a lunging right hand
and Vanorden connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hyde misses with a hook. Vanorden ducked under it nicely.
Vanorden jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Vanorden throws a lazy body kick
and Vanorden takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Ty Vanorden has been cut.
Vanorden uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hyde.
Hyde throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hyde connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vanorden momentarily.
Hyde moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vanorden avoids the head kick by Hyde.
Vanorden looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Vanorden fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hyde tries to land a body kick
and Vanorden counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hyde throws an overhand right that lands on Vanorden's shoulder, as Vanorden tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hyde rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Vanorden counter with a right hand.
Hyde smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hyde throws a leg kick
and Vanorden counters with a nice right hand that sends Hyde toppling to the canvas! Hyde scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Vanorden finish him?!
It looks like Grant Hyde has been cut.
Hyde misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hyde throws a right hand that misses
and Vanorden counters with a crisp right that sends Hyde to the canvas! Vanorden follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
