Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sthawy Sthowp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Podrezov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sthowp comes into the arena with Blind Guardian - Into the Storn blaring out of the sound system. Podrezov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by South Park - La Resistance!. Fedor Podrezov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sthowp fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Podrezov, pushing him back against the cage.
Sthowp tries to score a body lock takedown but Podrezov shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Podrezov lands a hook that snaps the head of Sthowp backwards.
Sthowp tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Podrezov with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Sthowp jumps guard and drags Podrezov to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Sthowp keeping moving, preventing Podrezov from controlling successfully.
Podrezov stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Sthowp pushes Podrezov up against the cage in a clinch.
Podrezov misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sthowp tries to pull guard but Podrezov won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sthawy Sthowp. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sthowp tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Podrezov smiles and moves away.
Podrezov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Podrezov slaps away a takedown attempt from Sthowp, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Podrezov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sthowp shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sthowp was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sthowp is working for a guillotine from mount but Podrezov frees his head quite easily.
Sthowp jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Podrezov is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Podrezov and Sthowp has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Sthowp is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Podrezov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Sthowp tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Podrezov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sthowp wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Sthowp thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Podrezov gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Sthowp is trying to work for a kimura but Podrezov is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sthowp is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Podrezov defends it well.

Sthowp is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sthowp is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Podrezov has managed to free his arm - good work.

Podrezov wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Sthowp is sitting in close to Podrezov's body. Podrezov has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sthowp is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sthowp is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Podrezov.
