Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fredrik White (ranked 920 p4p, 506 weight class) and Nakagome Kakuzo (ranked 128 p4p, 71 weight class). White's entrance music is Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone. A fine choice. Nakagome Kakuzo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fredrik White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nakagome Kakuzo!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White blocks a head kick by Kakuzo.
White is looking for a counter combo.
Kakuzo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kakuzo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
White wants to stand and escape but Kakuzo is having none of it.
Kakuzo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

White swings wildly with an uppercut but Kakuzo uses good head movement to avoid it.
White tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kakuzo's elbow.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

White looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kakuzo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt White.
White misses with the combination.
White moves out of range of the strikes.
Kakuzo scores with a shot to the body.
Kakuzo stuns White with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kakuzo slips under a jab.
Kakuzo was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Kakuzo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kakuzo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
White appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kakuzo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kakuzo tries to keep at a distance but White has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kakuzo turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

White parries the strikes from Kakuzo easily there. Kakuzo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable White to escape.
Kakuzo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but White sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
White wants to get back to his feet but Kakuzo drags him back down.
Kakuzo throws an elbow but White slips to the side and avoids it well.

Kakuzo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused White some visible discomfort.
White dodges the ground and pound from Kakuzo.
White seems a little lost for a moment, as Kakuzo dominates the positioning.

Kakuzo is working to tighten his grip on White's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. White has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kakuzo is really squeezing tight and eventually White passes out! Kakuzo breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
