The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maluga takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Ippo Makunouchi has been cut.
Maluga paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Makunouchi lands with a hook. Maluga tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Beluga Maluga has been cut.
Ippo Makunouchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Makunouchi has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Makunouchi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Maluga seems to have got his legs back now.

Makunouchi lands with a big right hook that stumbles Maluga - he's out on his feet here! Makunouchi follows up with another monster hook that separates Maluga from consciousness! Maluga falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Makunouchi stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
