Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rockwell Mcgee (ranked 709 p4p, 787 weight class) and Montrese Andersson (ranked 81 p4p, 86 weight class). Mcgee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is No More Hot Dogs. Andersson has chosen Wax -- Who Is Next as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Rockwell Mcgee has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rockwell Mcgee seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rockwell Mcgee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Montrese Andersson! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Mcgee misses. Good standup being displayed there by Mcgee as he connects with a hook. Andersson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Andersson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Andersson lands with a good body shot. A nice leg kick lands there from Mcgee. Mcgee works the jab nicely. Mcgee looks to land a left hand but Andersson moved out of range nicely. Andersson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mcgee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mcgee misses with a double jab.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Andersson defending well as Mcgee loads up on a big left hand. Mcgee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mcgee takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Andersson throws a nice inside leg kick. Andersson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mcgee.
Oooooh!!! Mcgee has knocked Andersson down with a huge combo! Mcgee steps away and waves a wobbly Andersson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
 Andersson is rocked!
 It looks like Montrese Andersson has been cut. Andersson tries for a takedown but Mcgee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. As Andersson looks to move away, Mcgee throws a big counter combo but Andersson just gets out of the way. Andersson is still on wobbly legs! Can Mcgee finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Andersson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mcgee sees it coming and avoids it easily. A little feinted left hand from Mcgee on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Mcgee looks to land a combination but Andersson avoids it well. Andersson seems to have recovered his senses. Andersson misses with an uppercut. Mcgee saw that one coming.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Andersson scores with a hook to the body. Mcgee takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Mcgee throws a sloppy head kick and Andersson moves out of range easily. Mcgee throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mcgee scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Mcgee is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Andersson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mcgee moves away. Mcgee throws the left hand but Andersson avoids the punch easily. Andersson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Andersson misses with a hook to the body
letting Mcgee counter with a right hand. It looks like Mcgee has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Andersson with a nice cross.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Andersson misses the target. Mcgee is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Mcgee throws a head kick that misses and Andersson counters with a one-two to the body.
Andersson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Andersson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Mcgee wants to get back to his feet.
Mcgee has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Andersson is on him like a limpet, forcing Mcgee back against the cage. Mcgee can't break the clinch.

Mcgee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mcgee missing with a left hand there. Andersson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Andersson fails to land the takedown. Mcgee swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Andersson counter with a right hand. Mcgee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mcgee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Andersson. Mcgee throws a jab but it's blocked by Andersson. Andersson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Mcgee fails to land with a series of punches.
Mcgee throws a series of punches but Andersson avoids them all with ease. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rockwell Mcgee dominated that round. The cut man is working on Montrese Andersson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Andersson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mcgee. Andersson misses with a double jab.
Mcgee motions for Andersson to come forward. Mcgee throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. A nice side step and Andersson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Mcgee walks into a left hand. Andersson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Mcgee avoids a kick to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Andersson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andersson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Mcgee with the inside leg kick. Andersson shoots in and drives through. Mcgee sprawls well.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgee goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mcgee lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Andersson at a distance.
Mcgee misses with a hook. Andersson ducked under it nicely. Andersson throws a leg kick but Mcgee moved away. Rockwell Mcgee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mcgee throws a combination that misses and Andersson counters with a right hand to the body. A head kick misses from Mcgee. Andersson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Andersson misses with a looping left. Rockwell Mcgee is winning the standup battle so far. Mcgee slips a jab and a cross from Andersson.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcgee cracks Andersson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Andersson tries to close the distance and clinch but Mcgee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mcgee throws a big counter combination but Andersson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Andersson wants to clinch up but Mcgee keeps it at a distance.
Andersson scores with a takedown into Mcgee's guard. Mcgee wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Andersson manages to pass to side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Andersson wants to free his trapped foot but Mcgee is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mcgee taking some punishment here, with Andersson in his half guard.
Mcgee manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Andersson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Mcgee gets underhooks to prevent Andersson's takedown attempt.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgee has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Mcgee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Andersson can do to turn this around? Mcgee is trying to break the clinch but Andersson has him pressed against the cage. Andersson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rockwell Mcgee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Montrese Andersson.

Andersson has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Mcgee throws a head kick that misses. Mcgee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Andersson misses with a takedown attempt - Mcgee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mcgee is looking to counter punch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Andersson is predictable there and Mcgee counters with a nice low kick that buckles Andersson's knee momentarily. Mcgee throws a shot from downtown. Andersson moves away and avoids it. Andersson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. A head kick misses from Mcgee. Mcgee keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Andersson. Andersson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Andersson shoots in for a takedown but Mcgee shows good takedown defense. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rockwell Mcgee dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Montrese Andersson's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mcgee looks to throw the jab but Andersson is out of range. Mcgee moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Rockwell Mcgee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A jab from Mcgee misses. Andersson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Andersson throws a right and a left that both miss. Mcgee throwing a counter right hand but Andersson manages to avoid it. Andersson blocks a leg kick. Montrese Andersson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Andersson tries to close the distance and clinch but Mcgee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mcgee is looking for a counter combo. Andersson throws a lazy right hand but Mcgee sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Mcgee drops Andersson with a beautiful combination! Andersson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mcgee is looking for the KO! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Andersson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Andersson misses with a body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Mcgee. No joy for Andersson on that attempt. Andersson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Andersson gets a double leg takedown into Mcgee's guard. Mcgee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mcgee pushes Andersson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Andersson dodges the punch combination from Mcgee.
Rockwell Mcgee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson slips a jab from Mcgee. Andersson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mcgee. Mcgee obviously looking to wear him down.
Mcgee staying out of range there. As Andersson looks to move away, Mcgee throws a big counter combo but Andersson just gets out of the way. Mcgee throws a wild combination but nothing lands. It seemed like Andersson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Mcgee takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Mcgee throws a hook to the side of Andersson's head but Andersson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Mcgee misses with a left hand and Andersson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Mcgee scores with a jab to the body. Mcgee throws out a leg kick but Andersson moves out of range and Mcgee only half commits. Mcgee on the wrong end of a nice hook. Andersson has his takedown stuffed and Mcgee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Rockwell Mcgee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Montrese Andersson. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Andersson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Rockwell Mcgee showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mcgee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
