The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Globe staying out of range there.
Mulroney looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Horrible takedown attempt by Globe or perhaps it was just good defense by Mulroney, which made it look bad.
Rufus Globe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Globe throws a body punch but Mulroney moves out of range.
Globe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A little feinted left hand from Mulroney on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Globe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mulroney.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mulroney.
Globe stuns Mulroney with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Mulroney counters with a nice right hand that sends Globe toppling to the canvas! Globe scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mulroney finish him?!
Globe is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Globe glances at the clock... BAM! Mulroney nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Globe crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Globe is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
