The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira needs to keep his hands up - Paulsen had a free shot at his head there.
Pereira tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Paulsen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Paulsen lands a jab to the nose.
Berni Paulsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paulsen clobbers Pereira with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Pereira is rocked!
Pereira is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Paulsen doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Pereira crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Pereira's bad books for that mishap!
