Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Anderson (ranked 1235 p4p, 2170 weight class) and Sinatra Pesonen (ranked 166 p4p, 276 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Elijah Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sinatra Pesonen! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Pesonen as Anderson shoots in. Anderson dives in and grabs Pesonen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pesonen pushes down on Anderson's head and hops out.
Anderson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pesonen's guard.
Anderson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pesonen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anderson has managed to get both his arms back between Pesonen's legs - danger averted. Anderson looking to pass the guard.

Pesonen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Anderson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Anderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Pesonen is retaining full guard. Anderson preventing the sweep.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Pesonen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Pesonen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pesonen working a defensive guard here.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pesonen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Anderson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pesonen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Pesonen trying to hold on to Anderson's head to control him but Anderson postures up.
Anderson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pesonen! Pesonen is in all sorts of trouble here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Elijah Anderson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Nice sprawl there from Pesonen as Anderson shoots in. Pesonen feints the counter takedown. Anderson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pesonen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anderson somewhat. Pesonen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Anderson moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Pesonen. Anderson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. You can see the frustration on Pesonen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pesonen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Pesonen felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson moves nicely into side control. Pesonen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Anderson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Pesonen bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Pesonen trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom. Anderson keeping full guard, as Pesonen tries to pass. Pesonen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Pesonen wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.

Pesonen is trying to improve his position. Anderson controlling the position. Pesonen is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Anderson off and has taken his back!

Pesonen is looking for a choke. Anderson gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Anderson manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Pesonen has his foot on Anderson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anderson works his way back into a safe position though.
Pesonen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Anderson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pesonen. Pesonen is looking for a sweep. Anderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pesonen keeps working.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pesonen tries to bench press Anderson off him but Anderson keeps the position. Anderson in side control, just content to control the action for now. You can see the frustration on Pesonen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pesonen is looking for a sweep. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. And that's the end of the fight! Elijah Anderson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Anderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
