PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kimmo Peramaki (ranked 557 p4p, 1378 weight class) and Sebastion Lynar (ranked 60 p4p, 135 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lynar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lynar passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Peramaki!
Peramaki is desperately trying to improve his position but Lynar has a good base and remains in mount.

Lynar has gone for a leg lock! Peramaki slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lynar's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peramaki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lynar avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lynar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Lynar tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Peramaki cranks the arm and Lynar screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lynar, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
