Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Takehiko Hidaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santino Cabal!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been told by Hidaka's head coaches at Heavy Metal that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hidaka rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cabal moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Cabal throws a leg kick
and Hidaka connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A slapping body kick lands there for Cabal.

Hidaka feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Cabal lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hidaka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Cabal is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hidaka had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Hidaka takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cabal looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Cabal throws the left hand but Hidaka avoids the punch easily.
Hidaka appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cabal throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hidaka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hidaka misses with a straight left.
Cabal tries to clinch but Hidaka is having none of it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Santino Cabal dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Cabal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hidaka manages to avoid it.
Hidaka closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Cabal out cold! Cabal corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
