Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Beardsley (ranked 565 p4p, 172 weight class) and Mombasa Magabi (ranked 38 p4p, 13 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Beardsley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mombasa Magabi ! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magabi punishes Beardsley's body with a nice straight punch. Magabi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Mombasa Magabi has been cut. Beardsley tries to clinch and Magabi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Peter Beardsley has been cut. Magabi misses with a kick to the body.
Beardsley seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Magabi throws a quick inside leg kick. Magabi throws a body kick, spinning off balance enabling Beardsley to counter with a crisp jab. Magabi swings away with a body shot that misses
and Beardsley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Magabi throws the left hand but Beardsley avoids the punch easily. As Magabi tries to get set, Beardsley tries to push him back and clinch up but Magabi manages to avoid the attempt. Beardsley gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Beardsley doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Magabi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Beardsleys head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Beardsley fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magabi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Beardsley connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A looping hook to the body misses from Magabi . Beardsley does a little dance to reset his feet. Magabi moves out of range of the body kick. A decent looking cross lands there for Magabi . Beardsley lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Beardsley instigates a clinch. Beardsley tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Magabi . Magabi blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Magabi manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Beardsley.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beardsley misses with the head strike.

Beardsley lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Magabi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Beardsley closes the distance and clinches. Magabi trying to stall but Beardsley improves his position.
Magabi goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Beardsley throws a head punch that misses. Beardsley tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Beardsley misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Magabi lands on the inside with an uppercut. Magabi is trying to maintain a safe position but Beardsley gets an underhook and turns Magabi into the cage. Beardsley misses with a punch on the inside.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Magabi . Beardsley is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Magabi to keep the fight standing. Magabi breaks from the clinch.
Beardsley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magabi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Beardsley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Magabi sees it coming and avoids it easily. Beardsley fails in his attempt to clinch. Magabi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Beardsley misses with a body shot.
Magabi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Magabi throws a leg kick letting Beardsley counter with a right hand. Beardsley fails in his attempt to clinch. Magabi throws a sloppy head kick and Beardsley counters with a nice body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beardsley takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Beardsley pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Beardsley moves out of range as Magabi throws a body kick.
Beardsley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Magabi , pushing him back against the cage. Beardsley misses with a punch on the inside.
Magabi digs a right hand underneath Beardsley's ribcage. Beardsley let out a lung full of air as it connected. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A nice left hand lands by Magabi .
Beardsley tries to pull guard but Magabi forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Beardsley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Magabi lands with a right to the head. Magabi lands with a left to the head.
Peter Beardsley's cut is getting worse. Magabi stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Beardsley is breathing heavily. Magabi lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Beardsley. Magabi just leaning against Beardsley, taking a breather. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Magabi . And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mombasa Magabi will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Magabi digs a good hook to Beardsley's body.
Beardsley takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Beardsley slips under a jab. Beardsley swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Magabi lands a right hook to the body.
Mombasa Magabi seems to be getting the better of the standup. Magabi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beardsley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Magabi punishes Beardsley's body with a nice straight punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Magabi with a body punch. A glancing blow. Magabi cracks Beardsley with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Magabi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Beardsley to stand back up! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Magabi cracks Beardsley with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Beardsley looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Magabi finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Magabi throws a body punch but Beardsley moves out of range. Beardsley is looking to counter punch. Magabi explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Magabi engages and cracks Beardsley with a massive lead left hook - Beardsley tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Magabi is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
