Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 23 - 0, fighting out of London, Wille Thai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mordor Mettovaara!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai with a poor takedown
and Mettovaara connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Wille Thai has been cut.
Thai darts in looking for a takedown but Mettovaara gets double underhooks and turns Thai into the cage.
Mettovaara now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Thai is trying to drag Mettovaara to the mat but Mettovaara just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wille Thai. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mettovaara gets underhooks to prevent Thai's takedown attempt.
Thai has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mettovaara avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Thai is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mettovaara pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Thai fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mettovaara misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mettovaara prevents a takedown attempt there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thai drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thai tightens his grip and picks Mettovaara up, before dumping him to the ground. Mettovaara manages to land in guard.
Thai postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mettovaara is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Thai, into his guard.
Mettovaara advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thai is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mettovaara pulls his head out easily.
Thai makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Thai.
Mettovaara wants to control from the top but Thai keeps moving.
Thai is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Mettovaara frees his head nicely. Oh but Thai has switched to an armbar! Mettovaara is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
