Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carlton Draught!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Beau Abner!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draught lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Draught throws an off balance right hand
and Abner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Carlton Draught has been cut.
A lazy left from Draught finds it's target.
Abner is looking to clinch.

Draught gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Draught wants to work for an arm triangle but Abner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Draught wants to pass to mount but Abner is defending the position.
Draught is working hard here to advance position.

Draught moves into full mount! Abner won't be happy about that!

Draught has hold of Abner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Abner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Abner is in all sorts of trouble here.

Draught goes for an armbar but he's not got it� Abner turns into him and now he's in Draught's guard.

Draught has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Abner has passed into side control.
Abner content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Draught trying to control but Abner flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Abner just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Draught is trying to break free.
Abner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Draught. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Abner doesn't have the hooks in and Draught manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Draught pushes down on Abner's leg and manages to get into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Draught moves into full mount! Abner won't be happy about that!

Carlton Draught seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Draught lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Abner throws a solid leg kick but Draught takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Abner.
It looked like Draught wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Abner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Abner moves forwards but Draught connects with a nice, crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Abner takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Beau Abner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Draught scores with a jab to the body.
Abner on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Draught has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Draught drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Abner prevents Draught from improving position.
Draught looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Abner is avoiding damage well.
Draught tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Carlton Draught overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Draught has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Abner!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Draught is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Abner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Abner's back!

Abner drives through and clinches with Draught against the cage.

Draught tightens his grip and picks Abner up, before dumping him to the ground. Abner manages to land in guard.

Draught is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Abner has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Abner!
Draught can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Abner controls the pace.

Draught stands and throws Abner's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Draught in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Abner is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

After winning the bout, Carlton Draught thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
